Worser Bay Boating Club is the ideal choice for your next corporate venue hire, located on the water’s edge, with stunning views and ample free parking.

 

The venue is flooded with natural light, has a smart-casual atmosphere with breath-taking harbour views, creating a unique corporate venue suitable for executive functions, off site meetings, informal conferences, product launches, seminars, workshops or promotions.

Capacity

 

Our venue can accommodate 120 seated at tables and 220 standing. The venue can be easily configured into a range of different formats. As well as the main hall the venue includes  two lounges and a covered deck which are all able to be used as break out spaces for around 15 people. Semesters

 

The club has two distinct rental semesters - summer and winter. These change based on the sailing season but are typically as indicated below

 

Summer Semester: 

 

1 October to 30 April. The club can be used for venue hire from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday through to Thursday and Fridays from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

 

Winter Semester: 

 

1 May to 30 September.  With no club sailing during this period, the club is available for venue hire from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Rentals outside of these times are subject to approval from our event coordinator. 

 

Rental

 

The cost for venue hire for meetings is $890 ex GST.  This charge includes use of the venue from 8.00am to 6.00pm, or any part thereof on the day of the rental, except for rentals on Fridays during the summer semester where the venue is available from 7.00am to 5.00pm. The cost for venue hire for funerals is $990 ex GST. The slightly higher fee reflects the significant time required in preparing the venue and liaising with funeral directors.

 

Rental includes use of the venue, a cleaning charge, and the core set of meeting and audio-visual equipment.

PLEASE NOTE: The rental charge does not include the cost of catering or staff or any additional requirements over and above the core set of meeting and audio-visual equipment. We will connect you to our exclusive catering provider ‘Spoonful Catering' to discuss your catering needs.

Venue hire uses

​

We can accommodate an array of venue hire uses at Worser Bay Boating Club. Business functions are our primary offering, however we can also offer some selected funerary usage. Unfortunately we do not hire the venue for for non-member parties including weddings and 21sts.

​

Businesses

​

The main use of our venue is for businesses. It is a unique corporate venue that is suitable for an array of uses for businesses of all sizes! Uses range from day conferences and workshops, to product launches and social functions. Businesses who are Boat & Beach Wise supporters, and who have paid their annual supporter's fee can get specialist rental rates. Chat to us about these rates before you book!

Funerals

 

The venue can be used for funeral services or for post funeral receptions at the discretion of the Commodore and Rear Commodore.

 

Non-member parties, weddings and 21sts

 

The venue is not available for non-member parties including weddings and 21sts.
