The Worser Bay Boating Club junior race squad and youth development squad kicked off their season with a bang this week, with three days of high intensity coaching and training.
Setting up outcome and performance goals for the season for each sailor, agreeing to a common set of training priorities for the fleets, and shaking out the cobwebs was all part of this year's spring "Kick Start" clinic.
The input from sailors has now been synthesised into a coaching and training programme for the 2024-2025 season.
A huge thank you from all the facilitators, coaches and trainers to all the sailors and parents for their participation, help and enthusiasm. We are ready for a rocking season!!
And just a reminder that you need to register for either the junior race squad or the youth development squad to participate in the season's coaching and training programme.
