Our programme to get young people into racing Optimists. Once you have graduated from Opti Squad this is your next step. The sailor's own Optimist is used.

About the Event
Blue Fleet is our programme to get young people into racing sailboats. Blue Fleet is run every Saturday morning throughout the season, starting at 9.00am.
Blue Fleet is run by Yachting New Zealand qualified coaches. It uses the ‘Go Racing’ syllabus which is the third level in the Yachting New Zealand Learn to Sail pathway.
Young people who graduate from the Blue Fleet are awarded a ‘Go Racing’ certificate.
Please note that you need to have joined the club to participate in Blue Fleet. There is no charge for Blue Fleet coaching.
